This is a 1:1 letter exchange program that allows donor families and transplant recipients, who could not meet or know each other, to share their hearts and gratitude through letters.
KODA ensures that every letter is delivered safely and sincerely, connecting lives with warmth and care.

How to Participate
Step 01 - Sign Up

Create an account to use the Hope Mailbox service.

(Participation available to donor families and transplant recipients aged 14 or older.)

Step 02 - Write a Letter

After logging in, follow the guide to write your letter.

Letters containing personal information may require edits. Once reviewed and approved, they will be delivered.

Step 03 - Letter Delivery

Your letter will be reviewed by KODA before being delivered to the recipient.

*If returned, you'll receive a notification and can revise and resend your letter.

*Delivery may be delayed if the recipient is not yet registered or needs more time to recover.

How to Write Your Letter

If You Are Writing to a Donor's Family

  • Express your gratitude for the donor's precious gift.
  • Share how the donation has impacted your life.
  • Introduce yourself briefly (e.g., age group, family, hobbies, or interests).
  • Talk about your current health or daily life after the transplant.

If You Are Writing to a Recipient

  • Express your condolences to the family.
  • Share your thoughts on the meaning of life and gratitude.
  • Describe how the donor's gift has given you strength or hope.
  • Introduce yourself briefly (e.g., age group, family, hobbies, or interests).
Important Notes
  • Please review the writing guide and sample letters carefully before submission.
  • Do not include any personal information. Any letter containing identifiable information may require revision or be returned.
  • Under Article 13(1) of the Act on Organ Transplantation, disclosure of personal information about the donor or recipient is strictly prohibited.
